Introverts and Epilepsy
« on: February 21, 2006, 02:08:23 PM »
I just finished The Introvert Advantage and I was very interested in the section on the brain paths for introverts and extroverts. Has there been any research into epilepsy and introversion. I am specifically thinking about frontal epilepsy since that involves the frontal lobe, which is a portion of the brain pathway for an introvert.

The book was excellent.

Thank you,

Steve

Hi,  I don't know if there's a relation - but if it helps, my MBTI is ISFJ and I have epilepsy centered in my Left Temporal Lobe.  Anything about the brain has always fascinated me.  Looking forward to reading the book!

Hi,
I was never diagnosed w/epilepsy, but my father had epilepsy, and myself, and 2 other siblings, that were tested are said, to have a tendacy toward ceasures. The other 3 of my siblings were never tested, but my entire family, are almost, wholly, made up of introverts. Perhaps, someday, a study on this will be done. It should prove interesting. -Goat Rancher
